2011 Audi A8 loads up on technology, interior comfort

If you had just the side views of the new, fourth-generation 2011 Audi A8 sedan and its predecessor to look at side by side, the differences appear more subtle than stark. There are the fancy LED headlights and relocated body-side character lines on the new A8, but the roofline and body pillars are mostly unchanged. Inside, though, the change is dramatic.

The Ferrari F430 Spyder Bio Fuel car from the Detroit Motor Show in 2008 We learnt at the weekend that Lamborghini are to reduce their CO2 footprint by 35%, and we recently  learnt about some of Ferrari’s Hybrid plans from patent applications the boys from Maranello had filed. But today we learn that not only is Ferrari looking at Hybrid options, but that it intends showing a car very soon – probably at the Los Angeles Motor Show in November. Ferrari is looking at several options to keep the ‘Environmentalists’ happy, including Bio-Fuel and Turbo charging.

Hyundai offers gas incentive plan

Last summer, when gas prices were pushing above $4 a gallon, Chrysler tried to cash in and move some metal by offering a guaranteed gas price of $2.99 for three years. But that plan crashed when the price of gas plummeted. Now, Hyundai is ready to give that marketing spiff another spin.
