Nope your not dreaming, this is a find of a lifetime! Original barn find one of the holy grails for caddy fans, Edelbrock tri-power CD-693 aluminum intake unmolested! This is a vintage Edelbrock CD-693 tri power intake manifold that fits 1949-1962 Cadillac V8 engines. This will fit 331, 365, and 390 cubic inch engines. Has been stored in a barn for about 30 years.The manifold has no cracks or damage anywhere and has never been welded on or repaired. Has one small notch cut out on one ear as shown in pics. It still has that rat rod dirty look to it, because I liked the patina. If you don't want the patina, I will media blast at your request after purchase at no additional charge, but I personally like the patina. Also includes to shields to run a single carb, ultra rare and hard to find in their own right. I am listing this for $1,999, but am open to reasonable offers. $500 is not reasonable for this rare of a piece so low balling will not work here! Send me a good offer worst I can say is no. Sandy's toll: 15,000 cars and counting
Thu, 08 Nov 2012The damage tally from Superstorm Sandy continues to roll in. The latest estimate is that Toyota, Chrysler, Nissan and Honda plan to scrap 15,000 new cars damaged. The National Automotive Dealers Association says that number could grow to 200,000 cars.

They’ve grafted on a new nose for both in a facelift for the models which will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week. Skoda say that the new nose “…accentuates the cars’ width, with a totally redesigned face that gives both cars a more dynamic look, increasing their road presence.” So there.
Le Mans regulations for 2014 announced
Thu, 14 Jun 2012The organisers of the Le Mans 24-hour have announced a raft of radical new rules on the eve of the 2012 race - including the less restricted use of hybrid power for the top-flight LMP1 racers from 2014. The governing ACO (Automobile Club de l'Ouest) unveiled the major changes due in two years' time as the teams start the 80th 24 Heures du Mans event which runs from Saturday 16 - Sunday 17 June 2012. In order to stay in tune with our environmentally-conscious, economically-chastened times, the focus of the alterations is to improve the efficiency of the elite LMP1 cars' technology and cement a link with roadgoing hybrids, as well as making the race cars safer.
